KrO ribbons provide 2 panels, a black resin panel (Kr), and a clear overlay panel(O). This is perfect for printing black elements such as barcodes. This ribbon provides up to 500 images. It is perfect for single-sided printing in the Zebra ZXP Series 3 badge printer.

Black dye-sublimation is different than a typical black resin ribbon. YMCKO ribbons, as well as most monochrome ribbons have a resin panel. This resin panel provides solid rich blacks, but it limits the image you can use. Resin ribbons are great for text and simple line art. Resin doesn't allow for shading, but Resin ribbons need to be used to print useable barcodes. Dye-sublimation allows for shading and gray-scale printing.

Storage Information
Proper storage insures that you get the most out of your ribbon. For proper storage, avoid storing the ribbons in direct sunlight, high temperatures, or high humidity. Store the ribbons away from solvents and chemicals. To ensure print quality, do not touch the printing surface of the ribbon. Monochrome ribbons have a shelf life of 1 year and should optimally be stored at temperature of 41°F to 86°F/+5°C to 30°C
